Genius in the Humanities and the Sciences: Milton and Darwin - two views of Creation
Blackwell’s Bookshop and the Bodleian Library are delighted to welcome Sir Paul Nurse to Oxford to talk about John Milton and Charles Darwin.
In this intriguing lecture, Paul Nurse will compare Paradise Lost and The Origin of Species and their contrasting views of the origins of biological diversity and explore the similarities and differences between creativity in the humanities and the sciences. This is one of a series of talks being held to celebrate the wonderful Marks of Genius exhibition at the Weston Library.
