Scratching that itch: neuroimmune control of allergic immunity
Assistant Professor Caroline Sokol
Professor Sokol is board certified allergist and immunologist practicing at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. She is also leading a laboratory group investigating allergen control of dendritic cell activation and migration and the role of innate accessory cells in Th2-differentiation.
For this talk, she will discuss her work on the role of the nervous system in the control of the immune system in allergic immunity.
