Business process innovation among space ventures
Join us for the third Oxford Smart Space Event: Business process innovation among space ventures
How do firms and agencies read the challenges and opportunities of ‘New Space’ — that world of ventures, technologies, funding, and public-private collaborations shaping the efforts to explore ‘outer space’? Today, entrepreneurs lead on re-assembling legacy technologies and pioneering new business process and forms of organizing.  This 21st century field explores and solves earth-focused challenges from AI- based analysis of satellite data for agriculture and weather, to sorting ‘space debris’ threatening satellites and long-term access to space.

In this episode, starting from examples of novel funding solutions observed in defence, security, intelligence, and related industries, we explore the distinctive conditions of space and alternative venture funding models that are unlikely in more standard commercial settings.
