The role of advocacy and policy in medical science publishing
This is a hybrid event
Join us for a conversation with Professor Alan Stein, Senior Research Fellow in Global Health and Public Policy, and Josie Gibson, Deputy Editor for The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, about editorial leadership, advocacy, and public policy.
Josie will tap into a decade of international editorial experience in multidisciplinary medical research, discuss influential science communication, and the power of allyship with global stakeholders within the scientific, medical, and health policy communities.
Josefine Gibson PhD is Deputy Editor for The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, an independent journal with an international perspective and strong clinical focus on paediatrics. The journal presents the most influential and innovative practice-changing original research, as well as authoritative reviews and insightful opinion pieces to promote the health of the whole child, from the fetal period through to young adulthood.
