About Lucy Atkins:
Lucy Atkins is an award-winning author of four novels and several non-fiction titles. She is a Sunday Times book critic and has written for publications including the Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, The TLS and many UK magazines. She has judged the Costa Novel Award and teaches on the creative writing MSt at the University of Oxford. Her most recent novel, Magpie Lane, was picked as one of the ‘Best Books of 2020’ by the Guardian, the Telegraph and BBC Radio 4’s Open Book. The Guardian called it ‘the word-of-mouth success of lockdown’. Her previous novel, The Night Visitor, has been optioned for television.
