This seminar is open to members of the University of Oxford only. Please register with your University of Oxford email to ensure a successful registration. Registration is at: https://medsci.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJctd-mqrjwsGt2MeubAhagvVDdRb0fx18vg
We will describe the isolation of mouse and human skeletal stem cells (SSCs) and how they are distinct from bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) lineages. We will then examine how SSCs interact with their local regulatory microenvironment or ‘niches’ and how these interactions could be adjusted to facilitate skeletal regeneration.
