Alzheimer's Research UK Thames Valley Network dementia public evening event

This free public event is for anyone with a general interest in dementia, and is organised by the University of Oxford, as part of the Alzheimer’s Research UK Thames Valley network centre.

Dr. Carlyle will talk about the accusations of scientific fraud in Alzheimer’s Disease research that were reported in the press in July, and the implications of these accusations for patients, researchers, and the race to cure Alzheimer’s Disease.

The talk will start at 6pm and finishes at 7pm, with a free hour afterwards for audience questions and smaller group discussions with Dr. Carlyle and other University of Oxford researchers with an interest in dementia research.

This will be the first event in a monthly series sponsored by Alzheimer’s Research UK Thames Valley Network.

We are holding the talk at the Robin Geffen Cafeteria, H B Allen Centre, Keble College, 25 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 6NN. Parking is available nearby in St Giles and the surrounding roads (charges apply). The bus from Pear Tree park and ride drops off at Woodstock Road at the Oxford Radcliffe Observatory Quarter bus stop, which is just a short walk away.
