Day 1: 2-Day Colloquium - Children & Heritage

A two-day colloquium hosted by the Centre for the History of Childhood and the National Trust Partnership, University of Oxford.

Day 1, Thursday 30 June, 13:45-17:00
Day 2, Friday 1 July, 09:45-17:00

The programme will explore children’s interactions with history and heritage in the past, young people’s engagement with heritage today, the inclusion of children’s voices and lives within historic spaces and exhibitions, and historic collections related to children’s lives and experiences.

Keynote papers will be presented by Professor Susan A Miller (Rutgers University) and Caro Howell (Director of the Foundling Museum) in addition to contributions from a range of academics and heritage and museum professionals engaging with children and heritage from around the world.
