How an Embassy Contribute to Science Diplomacy
Join the event co-hosted by Oxford IR Society and MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy, featuring Dr. Minh-Hà Pham, the current Counsellor for Science and Technology at the French Embassy in the UK. She worked as the former Director of the INRA laboratory, the Deputy Director of the CNRS European and International Relations Department, and the Counsellor for Science and Technology at the French Embassy in Washington D.C. She held key roles in ParisTech, is an expert in Franco-Amerivcan scientific relations, and actively promoted the French Higher Education and innovation HENRI system, fostering bilateral cooperation amid changing politival dynamics.

The event will focus on the science and technolgy section of the French diplomatic network. In the UK, the promotion of the French HERI system and the facilitation of bilateral cooperation by proposing funding schemes and organising a series of events with UK partners is the responsibility of the Department for Higher Education, Research and Innovation. These activities are taking place in a changing political context. There will be a small drinks reception following the event.
