How civil society supports peacebuilding: the case of Colombia
On the occasion of the publication of the policy brief ’10 Years Embracing Dialogue: Lessons from Civil Society for Peacebuilding’, produced by the transnational organisation Rodeemos el Diálogo (ReD, Embrace Dialogue), panelists reflect on the main lessons, strategies, and challenges of civil society engagement in support of peace processes.
This panel discussion, chaired by Alejandro Posada Tellez (DPIR Oxford), features Dr. Andrei Gómez-Suárez (Winchester/ReD) and Laura Acosta (Bristol/ReD), who will reflect on ReD’s experiences in Colombia and how they might be applicable to civil society movements in other war-torn contexts.
