OUCAGS Forum - 17th November 2021
We will have a plenary session titled “‘Managing in the context of pandemic uncertainty: clinical innovation or research?”, Associate Professor Mark Sheehan, Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Ethics Fellow at the Ethox Centre, and a Research Fellow at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in the Faculty of Philosophy.

Followed by talks from OUCAGS clinical academic trainees:

- “Incidence of Radiographic Lateral Compatment Osteoarthritis 15 years after Medial Unicompartmental Knee Replacement” by Henry Searle

- “The Children’s Surgery Outcome Reporting programme: Reducing unwarranted variation in outcome for children with surgical conditions” by Ben Allin

- “Investigating the effects of low-dose glibenclamide in type 1 diabetes” by Ioannis Spiliotis

- “Validation of a novel tendon repair simulator for surgical assessment” by Luke Western

There will be some networking sessions held through the Forum.
