Abstract:
Join us for an interactive presentation and discussion about options, opportunities (and potential challenges) for PPI in women’s health, including case studies of PPIE impacts throughout the research cycle (inception, recruitment, analysis, dissemination….), evidence for how it can really help, and an open dialogue about developing a PPIE panel within NDWRH.
Biography:
Sharon Dixon is a GP and qualitative researcher, including qualitative research on primary care perspectives on pathways to care across a range of service needs including using diagnostic tests, safeguarding, domestic violence and abuse, endometriosis, and female genital mutilation. She is currently an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow, undertaking a mixed-methods research study seeking to improve the evidence base for managing adolescent dysmenorrhoea in primary care
