The Islamicate Intellectual History seminar offers a forum for examination and presentation of various topics of scholarship engaged in by thinkers of various persuasions across predominantly Muslim lands. ‘Islamicate’ incorporates not only contributions by Muslims in various disciplines, religious and otherwise, but also contributions of Jewish, Christian, Hindu or other communities within lands broadly impacted by the ‘overall society and culture associated historically with Islam’.
