This workshop series, hosted jointly by the Oxford English Faculty and TORCH, brings a number of contemporary British writers (including Bernardine Evaristo, Aminatta Forna and Daljit Nagra) into conversation with readers to discuss how literature shapes our perceptions of the world today and our identities within it. In the first half of each workshop, readers will be able to offer responses to their experiences of reading the book of the week; in the second, the author will give a reading and engage in conversation with the audience. Note: these sessions will be recorded for podcasting.
