- “Supercooled water and amorphous states” The IBM-Oxford Forum
We are pleased to announce a new seminar series called the IBM-Oxford Forum. The series will provide a platform for senior scientists from IBM Research to engage with the University through stimulating seminars on their latest cutting-edge research. IBM and Oxford have a long history of scientific collaboration over many years and across multiple disciplines. This new forum will help consolidate many of the existing interactions as well as sparking new collaborative opportunities. Seminars will run termly and will be hosted by different departments across Oxford’s research centres promoting interdisciplinary research.

- “Coping and adapting for bacteria: How you can learn to thrive under stress” To commemorate Stephan’s Award for the sought after 2020 Lister Institute Research Prize (Lister Prize), this Seminar will be attended by the Lister Institute’s Chairman, Professor Sir Alex Markham, and Director, Dr. Sally Burtles, and will be followed by a presentation and drinks reception on the Lower Ground Floor atrium area, Phase 1.
