If you are interested in becoming a solicitor but are not currently studying law then this event is for you!
In 2021 the route to qualification as a solicitor changed quite substantially and this has meant we have all had to get used to learning about new types of “conversion” courses and new exams. Perhaps you are grappling with some of these types of questions:
So, if you are thinking of becoming a solicitor and would like some clarity on how the new SQE system of qualification works and what the differences are between the different sorts of courses then please come along.
This session will be lead by Sarah Pooley, Associate Professor and Dean at the University of Law. Sarah has extensive experience both as a practising solicitor and as an educator.
Careers advisers will also be on hand during the event so please bring your questions and we will do our best to answer them.
Students and graduates from any year or subject are welcome.
